This is Us.

We are more than just a daycare. We are a place where children feel welcomed and where they can learn and grow with the help of people who care.

Meet the Owner

Crystina Diaz

Hello, my name is Crystina Diaz and I am the proud owner of The Kingdom Kids Learning Center.

I have an Associates Degree in Elementary Education, many years experience with childcare, and a passion for helping children to a brighter future.

I am honored to teach younger learners and help them learn something new. I hope I can make a difference on your child as I do with others!

Our Story

Being a young parent, I moved from Chicago, Illinois to Kokomo Indiana in hopes of providing a better life for my six-month-old son. Fortunately, I was eligible for low-income housing which created a way to provide shelter for my family. However, I still needed to find a job, a way of reliable transportation, and childcare from my son. I remember taking the local trolley in the cold winter months, with perseverance and dedication, I marched through the winter snow, almost freezing my feet, to find daycare and attended local job interviews. I felt confused, hopeless, and struggling in my situation. Today, I am feeling grateful, hopeful, and blessed to be the proud owner of a licensed childcare center.

Being a preschool teacher was my very first job in Kokomo, sparking my interest in childcare. I attended IvyTech Community College and began a major in Early Childhood Education. After working for many local childcare centers, and graduating in 2020, with an Associate Degree in Science Elementary, I was ready to begin my new journey: Starting my own Licensed Childcare Center.

The idea came from my experience working in the Early Childhood field. I noticed the lack of education and compassion towards children in my community, especially low-income families. I wanted to become an advocate for my community, while creating a safe space for diverse families. I wanted to address the lack of academics taught in childcare centers and make it one of our major program fundamentals. The Kingdom Kids Learning Center provides high quality curriculum and care while catering to each child's individual creativeness that God has molded within them. While accepting children ages 3-13 years old, we specialize in preparing preschool aged children for kindergarten-readiness. We also teach all of our student's righteous life moral skills for present and future success like honesty, responsibility, and workmanship. My goal is to grow The Kingdom Kids Learning Center to serve infant, toddlers, and low-income families in my community.
